Aircraft Support Officer Adelaide – Casual & Part-time Positions

Rex is looking for energised and reliable individuals to fill the role of Aircraft Support Officer/Baggage Handler, in casual and part-time capacity.  If you’re excited about aviation, then you’ll love getting up close and personal with our aircraft fleet.You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring that REX aircraft depart and arrive on time to and from their designated destinations and work together to achieve a common goal.  You’ll need to be strong and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure in an environment that is always changing – weather, schedules and other parts of the operations that don’t always go to plan.Reporting:This position reports to the Adelaide Ramp Manager.Position responsibilitiesReceipt and Dispatch of aircraft Loading and unloading of baggage, cargo and cateringAssisting special needs customersThe safe operation of all ground equipment (for example: air-conditioning carts, toilet servicing, ground power unit operation)Aircraft cleaning including termination cleans, incident cleans, and toilet servicingSorting of checked passenger baggage and freightAssist with Catering when requiredSelection CriteriaCurrent Driver’s LicenceAble to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) and airside drivers licenceAble to work shift work that includes early starts, evenings and weekend workHigh standard of physical fitnessHigh standard of professionalismAbility to work in a team environment and a commitment to on time performanceAbility to work in an outdoor environment in a variety of weather conditionsPrevious airline experience is preferred but not essentialConditions: Conditions and wages are as per the Regional Express Ground Services Agreement 2025.To apply: Please submit your application via the 'Apply' button with a copy of your resume by Friday, 31st of July 2026. Regional Express is an equal opportunity employer AUD Adelaide 5000
